鈥淭he planned development of Heilongjiang Province鈥檚 blueberry industry (2010-2020)鈥?was approved recently and has been put into operation.

According to the plan, Heilongjiang Province will start projects immediately for wild resource conservation and development, technology innovation and business process transformation. Leading up to 2020, there are plans to construct a blueberry material base of 1.71 acres and build and foster 8 to 10 leading enterprises with an annual production value of over 0.5 billion yuan. The project focuses on the development of unique processing products such as blueberry biological health care products and advanced cosmetic products. The project plans to create and foster up to 4 or 5 internationally famous organic blueberry brands and 5 to 8 nationally famous brands. The total value of the blueberry industry could rise to 68.7 billion yuan.
