An AI-powered counseling system was launched for universities in Heilongjiang province on March 27 on the sidelines of the 2025 “Outstanding University Counselors in Heilongjiang” demonstration event held in Harbin.
The system, designed to function as an “AI college counselor”, operates 24/7 and incorporates over 20,000 specialized knowledge modules. It offers a variety of services to students, including academic guidance, campus life information, career counseling, and psychological support

Initially implemented at the Harbin Institute of Technology, the system is planned to be expanded to other universities across the northeastern province.
