Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province will further implement measures to enhance occupational injury protection for workers in new forms of employment in 2026. The initiative ensures that those who suffer work-related injuries have access to necessary medical treatment and receive financial compensation. Moreover, the northeastern province is set to reduce occupational injury risks for platform companies. It is expected that more than 100,000 workers in new forms of employment will be covered by occupational injury insurance.
