The e-visa is a single-entry visa valid for up to 30 days

Belarus has introduced a streamlined e-visa system, allowing foreign citizens from 67 countries to enter the country with greater ease. This is reported by BelTA, a partner of TV BRICS.

The e-visa is a single-entry visa valid for up to 30 days, catering to various purposes such as business trips, tourism, private visits, internships, and participation in cultural, educational, scientific, and sporting events. One of its standout features is the entirely online application process, eliminating the need to visit Belarusian consulates or provide additional visa support documents.

Travellers holding e-visas can enter Belarus through all international checkpoints, as well as road and rail border crossings. Upon request by authorities during their stay, visitors must present either a digital or printed version of their e-visa.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus confirmed that all previously existing visa waivers remain unaffected by this new system, further simplifying travel options for eligible foreign nationals.
