Hong Kong stocks closed up 436.31 points, or 1.75 percent, to 25,416.0 points on Thursday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 25,190.9 and 25,535.12. Turnover totaled 118.89 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 15.16 billion U.S. dollars).
