Hong Kong stocks closed up 17.20 points, or 0.07 percent, to 25,462.26 points on Tuesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 25,266.54 and 25,712.13. Turnover totaled 75.88 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 9.68 billion U.S. dollars).
