Hong Kong stocks closed up 154.77 points, or 0.56 percent, to 27,752.79 points on Tuesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 27,526.3 and 27,771.3. Turnover totaled 100.33 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 12.78 billion U.S. dollars).
