Hong Kong stocks closed down 183.64 points, or 0.66 percent, to 27,752.93 points on Tuesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 27,522.82 and 27,946.55. Turnover totaled 102.41 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 13.05 billion U.S. dollars).
