銆€銆€It's been announced that "Star Wars" creator George Lucas is engaged to longtime girlfriend and DreamWorks Animation chair Mellody Hobson.

銆€銆€A representative for Lucasfilm has confirmed the 68-year-old Lucas has finally "popped the question" to Hobson.

銆€銆€The two have been dating since 2006.

銆€銆€A date for the wedding has not been announced.

銆€銆€In addition to her job at DreamWorks, Hobson is a manager at a Chicago-based investment management firm.

銆€銆€She's also the chair of Ariel Mutual Funds.

銆€銆€Ariel is among the largest African-American-owned money management and mutual fund companies in the U.S.

銆€銆€Hobson is a regular financial contributor to ABC's Good Morning America.
