Sui Lijuan is the Vice-President of The Society and History Institute in Harbin Normal University and tutor of a master graduate degree. She goes in for studying and teaching Chinese modern history and has taught ten courses including Chinese History and Geography, Chinese Modern History, Chinese Ancient History, Chinese Ancient Political System History and Chinese Contemporary History. In 2006, she was elected Lecture Room of CCTV and lectured Saying Cixi series programs.

Miss Sui Lijuan paid more attention to scientific research after completing her teaching task. She published 4 academic monographs: Zeng Guofan, Saying Cixi, Chinese History and Geography, Heilongjiang History and wrote Heilongjiang Education History and other four academic works.
