Born in Harbin in 1939, Mr. Li Shuangjiang, is a tenor and member of Chinese Musicians Association. He was enrolled to vocal music school of Central Conservatory of Music. In 1963 he was a solo actor of Cultural Workgroup in Xinjiang Military District of the Chinese People鈥檚 Liberation Army (PLA). In 1973 he was a solo actor of the Song-and-Dance Troupe of the General Political Department of PLA. And then ranked as a civilian general, he taught in the vocal music school of PLA Art Academy.His representative works include 鈥淩ed Star Lights My Way to the Battlefield鈥? 鈥淩iding a Horse with Gun to Walk Throughout the World鈥? 鈥淥de to Beijing鈥? 鈥淏oatmen鈥檚 Labor Songs鈥? 鈥淕oodbye, Mother!鈥? 鈥淚 Love Wutzu Mountain, I Love Wanquan River鈥?and so on. His famous publication is 鈥淭he Collected Works of Li Shuangjiang鈥? He was given the Lifetime Achievements Award by Chinese American Association.
