Around 11:00 on August 1st, Heilongjiang Environmental Protection Department reported that traces of trimethylsilyl alcohol were checked in the sample of the Zhaoyuan section of the Songhua River from 12:00 to 16:00 on July 31st. The PH levels are normal, meeting the standard of surface water quality., while biological toxicity tests are also normal.

Traces of trimethylsilyl alcohol were checked and indicated the accident water area of Songhua River arriving in Heilongjiang Province. Trimethylsilyl alcohol belongs to a non-toxic chemical. The water quality of Songhua River remains normal.
