Suifenhe city, located in the north of Heilongjiang province welcomed its charming winter with rime sceneries. Recently, thousands of tourists flocked to the border city that neighbors Russia to see the spectacular view of its rime-frosted buildings.

Rime frost or "shugua" as the locals call it, usually appears in the areas surrounding the rivers in the period spanning from December to March.
