Fuji Rock Festival and Summersonic - two of Asia's leading music festivals in Japan 鈥?will have Linkin Park, Nine Inch Nails, Fall Out Boy and Franz Ferdinand to highlight their performers' list, it was announced recently.

The three-day Fuji Rock Festival, Asia's number one of its kind, has rallied big-name rock acts including emo band Fall Out Boy, Glasgow-based Franz Ferdinand and female rock songstress Patti Smith. The rock binge will be running from July 24 for three days in Japan's Niigata Prefecture.

Established in 2000, the Summersonic music festival will be headlined by Linkin Park, Nine Inch Nails and My Chemical Romance on its 10th anniversary. Besides, Sonic Youth, Placebo, Mogwai, and dance-pop singer Lady Gaga will also join the festival which is to open in August.

The Fuji Rock Festival attracted one hundred and twenty thousand rockers last year. (dbw.cn)
