Northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province will promote the treatment of rural domestic sewage in 2026 through tailored and site-specific measures. The effort will focus on key areas including township government seats and major villages. This initiative aims to raise the province’s overall rural domestic sewage treatment rate to over 55%.
