The 38th Sun Island International Snow Sculpture Art Expo opened on a trial basis at the Sun Island Park, located on the northern bank of the Songhua River in Harbin, on December 27, 2025.
Among the highlights are giant panda snow sculptures, inspired by the pandas Zhishi and Zhima living in Harbin. By integrating the appeal of China’s treasured species with the enchanting landscape of northern ice and snow, the expo is set to offer a unique and captivating experience to both domestic and international visitors.
