Recently, international students from countries such as Russia, Vietnam, Laos, Sri Lanka, Senegal, and Madagascar visited Jiamusi City to experience the Manchu jewelry beadwork craft. Under the guidance of their instructors, the students worked together to create beaded bracelets, combining creativity with traditional craftsmanship and immersing themselves in the charm of the national trend.
Beadwork art is one of the treasures of the Chinese nation. Dongfeng District in Jiamusi City is known as the "Home of Dongzhu" (Eastern Pearls). Dongzhu refers to wild pearls found in the Songhua River, Heilongjiang River, and Ussuri River basins. These pearls are large, smooth, and round, with a crystal-clear luster that radiates colorful glows. Due to their natural formation and have no implanted pearl lnucleus, they are rare and difficult to obtain.
