On September 15, several international students from countries such as Russia, South Korea, Nigeria, Georgia, Sri Lanka and Madagascar visited the Harbin Baroque Historical and Cultural Street District. They experienced the beauty of traditional Chinese clothing, tasted century-old "time-honored" mooncakes, appreciated the creative designs of Heilongjiang, and joined visitors from across the country in reciting poetry to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.

The 18℃ temperature in "Harbin" couldn't dampen the enthusiasm of international students for their Hanfu City Walk. Each student picked out their favorite traditional attire, adorably making small mistakes like putting the sleeve on the wrong side, missing a button, or wearing accessories slightly askew. When they heard the shop owner explain how the photography studio combines local cultural characteristics with young people's tourism needs, leading to a surge in orders, the students were amazed. Soon, a group of foreigners dressed in Hanfu strolled through the historic Baroque cultural district, becoming a beautiful sight during the Mid-Autumn holiday on the old street.

What's the Mid-Autumn Festival without mooncakes? The century-old brand Lao Ding Feng was bustling, with a continuous stream of citizens lining up to buy mooncakes.

The familiar Chinese flavors such as Chuansu, Wuren, Baiguo, Qinghongsi, and rose left international students amazed. As they tasted and guessed, they shared their favorite flavors with each other.

A handful of fine sand and a pair of skillful hands quickly sketched a scene of "Harbin" under the Mid-Autumn moonlight. Under the guidance of sand painting master Xue Yiheng, international students began their own creations, depicting Harbin’s unique landmarks such as the Baroque architecture and Saint Sophia Cathedral. Visitors enjoyed interacting with poetry at bookstores and museums, selecting "Heilongjiang gifts" such as fridge magnets and postcards, tasting traditional sugar figurines and creative ice cream, and taking photos with the mascots "Binbin" and "Nini" from the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin. As Harbin strives to build itself into a "City of Creative Design," the historical Baroque cultural district is polishing its golden brand through the enhanced commercial experience and interactivity brought by the cultural and creative design industry.

During the event, international students eagerly took out their phones to capture photos, visiting in at popular tourist spots and savoring local delicacies. They shared this wonderful journey with friends and followers on social media platforms.

It is reported that this event is organized by Heilongjiang Radio and Television Station (Heilongjiang Provincial All-Media Center), aiming to allow foreign friends to experience traditional Mid-Autumn Festival culture up close, while also sensing the new momentum sparked by Harbin's creative design industry and the fresh vitality in the inheritance and development of "time-honored brands."
