Hong Kong stocks closed down 101.20 points, or 0.36 percent, to 27,715.67 points on Thursday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 27,638.54 and 27,928.29. Turnover totaled 77.71 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 9.95 billion U.S. dollars).
