Hong Kong stocks closed up 110.26 points, or 0.39 percent, to 28,359.14 points on Wednesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 28,224.46 and 28,473.48. Turnover totaled 93.10 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 11.86 billion U.S. dollars).
