The 20-strong members of the team take responsibility for 90 kilometers of new high-speed rail from Liaoyang to Anshan of Liaoning province. Workers have to work against the bitter cold from midnight to 4:30 am in order to avoid accidents from high speed trains operating trials during the day. The Harbin-Dalian high-speed rail starts north from Harbin city, Heilongjiang province, through three northeastern provinces stretching for 921 kilometers to Dalian city, Liaoning province. The railway, the first high-speed rail crossing an alpine region is in trial operation and predicted to open at the end of 2012. [Photo/Xinhua] 銆€銆€ |
