If you arrive early at screenings of director Feng Xiaogang's latest blockbuster "Aftershock", you may see an extended trailer for the upcoming suspense film "Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame".

The trailer reveals an intricate plot and splendid scenes as well as an exciting cast that includes Andy Lau, Carina Lau, Li Bingbing, Tony Leung Ka-Fai and Deng Chao. Meanwhile, Tsui Hark is in charge of direction. Sammo Hung handles the martial arts direction. Chen Kuo-Fu is producing, and Huayi Brothers serves as the production company for the film.

Some viewers posted in the forum of Baidu.com that after viewing the film's second trailer, they are eager to see the film right away. According to Huayi Brothers, 130 million yuan (US$19 million) was spent to create scenes of a powerful and prosperous Tang Dynasty. That puts the average cost of this trailer at 930,000 yuan per second.
