Ministry of Public Security has decided that from June 1st of this year, foreign people who stay in China for over 6 months and offer the related materials in accordance with the required conditions will offer residence application to entry and exit management of the Ministry of Public Security. The Residence permit is valid for two years once issued.

It is known that in recent years, more and more foreign relatives of Chinese residents have come to China to visit, seek refuge and support immediate family members in China. More and more overseas Chinese consign their children into Chinese relatives鈥?care. The Entry and Exit Management Department is making the above adjustment to consider the practical needs for foreign people who stay in China.
