Liu Wenhua was born in 1960, and is a native of Suiling County, Heilongjiang Province. He engaged in an advanced study at the Chinese Painting Department of Fine Arts in 1985. From 1992 to 1993, he created the large-scale fresco 鈥淣orthern Country鈥檚 Taste and Interest鈥?in Heilongjiang Chamber, Beijing Great Hall of the People as the chief commentator. He is member of the China Artists Association, director of Heilongjiang Artists Association, professional painter of the Heilongjiang Art Creation Institute and a National Class-A Artist. He enjoys a special allowance from the Heilongjiang Provincial People's Government.
