It takes eight hours to drive from Xi'an, Shaanxi province to Chengdu, Sichuan province.Sichuan province decided to turn into the traffic hub of West China in 2007. Since then, 42 highway projects, with a total mileage of 3,887 kilometers and a total investment of 310.7 billion yuan have been under construction.
