On August 10th, after many years of protection, the Harbin Sun Island Wetland opened to visitors. The Jiangmantan Wetland and Jiangwan Lake Billabong sight on Sun Island is the largest and the only zoology sight that is located in the city center. The total area of the wetland is 10.6 square km and is mainly centered in the northwest of Sun Island.
