Heilongjiang Museum is the provincial comprehensive museum, lying in No. 64 Hongjun Street, Nangang District Harbin. There are 108237 objects of value. Among them there are 3449 artwork, 29346 historical cultural relics, 457 folk cultural relics, 2681 soil mineral rock samples, 16631 plants and animal samples and 1335 paleontology fossils. There are 83 first-level collections. Among them, unearthed jade burial articles from the Neolithic age of Xiaonanshan, Raohe, the unearthed Tang Dynasty Bohai gilt Buddha and golden Buddha of Ning’an Bohai Shangjing relics as well as silk and clothing unearthed from the grave of Acheng King of Qi in the Jing Dynasty are national first-level cultural relics. Natural samples of the flat head duck-billed dinosaur unearthed from Longgu Mountain, Jiayin, Heilongjiang in the Cretaceous Period, 65 million years ago, Quaternary Coelodonta 20 thousand years ago and 3 big scale fossils of mammoths that have their own features. These precious cultural relics have been displayed in foreign countries many times. There are parts of the “Heilongjiang History and Cultural Relics Exhibition”, “Nature Exhibition” and Deng San “Wooden Book Carving Art Exhibition” receiving around 300 thousand people every year.
