This year's Spring Festival travel rush is scheduled to kick off on February 2. Railway authorities and airlines in Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province are ramping up preparations to ensure smooth and efficient passenger transport throughout the extended period.
Train tickets for the upcoming holiday travel season have recently gone on sale.
To better serve passengers, China Railway Harbin Group has, for the first time, introduced two new temporary train services: one from Jiagedaqi to Tianjin and another from Hailar to Hohhot.
The railway operator has also added 10 regular train pairs and one additional peak-hour train pair. Furthermore, short-distance transport capacity has been boosted on routes connecting several cities.
