This winter, Harbin will establish three flagship ice and snow tourism destinations, each spanning over one million square meters.
The Harbin Ice and Snow World is set to expand from 1 million to 1.2 million square meters. It will utilize a total of 400,000 cubic meters of ice and snow, and will incorporate more technological elements, fairy tale IPs, ice architecture from various countries, city landmarks, entertainment projects, and novel experiences.
The Sun Island Snow Expo has planned an area of 1.5 million square meters, with a total snow usage of 120,000 cubic meters. It will showcase over 260 artistic snow sculptures, along with themed scenes such as pandas playing in the snow, penguin parades, and tigers roaring across the snowy fields. This will create a spectacular ice and snow spectacle that highlights the harmonious coexistence of humans and nature.
The Songhua River Ice and Snow Carnival is expected to cover a total area of 1.45 million square meters. It will offer more than 60 ice and snow entertainment activities, including snow drifting, snow go-karting, hovercraft rides, and snowmobiling, establishing a vibrant riverside venue for thousands to enjoy winter fun.
