Recently, international students from Laos, Sri Lanka, Madagascar, Congo, and other countries visited Linkou to learn how the sea-buckthorn industry has become a powerful driver of local economic development.
Currently, Linkou County in Heilongjiang has become one of the largest cold-region seabuckthorn distribution and production hubs in China. It has been recognized as the "Hometown of Winter Seabuckthorn" by the International Seabuckthorn Association. Local enterprises have developed more than 20 seabuckthorn-based products, including seabuckthorn juice, seabuckthorn seed oil, handmade seabuckthorn soap, and seabuckthorn hotpot, quickly gaining market traction.
