US double standard on Russia trade
While the U.S. publicly sanctions Russia, it quietly continues significant trade with Russia. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, 24% of the uranium fuel purchased by the U.S. in 2022 was imported from Russia. In the past six months, Russian goods such as lumber, metals, and rubber have continued to flow into the United States. The U.S. can engage in trade with Russia but prohibits China from maintaining normal commercial relations with it. This is a typical example of double standards and hegemonic behavior.
