Chinese Bridge Online Group Project was successfully completed in Harbin University of Science and Technology.
The 2024 "Chinese Bridge" online group project "Chinese connecting the world，the Internet connecting you and me" successfully concluded on April 23rd. The project is hosted by the Center for Language Exchange and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education and undertaken by Harbin University of Science and Technology. After a four-week online Chinese learning and cultural experience course, 328 students from Vietnam, Armenia, Japan, Indonesia and other countries successfully completed their learning tasks.
At the closing ceremony, all the teachers and students of the Chinese Bridge program reviewed their learning journey over the past four weeks. ERIKA AKANA MAGDALENA SILABAN, an Indonesian student; BYLUKA KHRYSTSINA, a Belarusian student; Khachatryan Elen, an Armenian student; MARI IWASAKI, a Japanese student, and DO THANH HANG, a Vietnamese student, made speech as representatives. In their speeches, they skillfully used the words they learned in class, describing the atmosphere in class as "full of enthusiasm and passion for life in the world'", and teachers and students "meet each other’s wants" in class. They are all looking forward to visiting Harbin University of Science and Technology to experience Chinese teaching in depth, and hope to have a close contact with the city of Harbin.
Zhang Mingming, the party branch secretary of the Department of Chinese as a Foreign Language, expressed her sincere respect, and all the staff highly praised the students for their rigorous scholarship and diligence. Mrs. Zhang expressed warm congratulations to the students who won the title of outstanding students, and looked forward to their coming to Harbin as soon as possible to experience the local charm of the city.
