The accessibility renovations at Hangzhou Wenhui School are a microcosm of the preparations that have been made for accessible services in this edition of the Asian Para Games. This year's Games are the largest ever, with nearly 5,200 participants from 44 countries and regions in Asia. The Hangzhou Organizing Committee for the Asian Para Games has upgraded and transformed competition venues, the Asian Games Village and reception hotels with accessible facilities. Majid Rashed, president of the Asian Paralympic Committee, highly praised Hangzhou's efforts in creating an accessible environment and stated that these improvements would leave a legacy for the city and its people.
