Featuring labyrinths of limestone pillars and whimsical rock formations, Yunnan Shilin is an important part of the South China Karst, which became a World Heritage Site in 2007. The geopark is acclaimed as the "Karst Museum," where almost all the typical pinnacle karst types can be found.
