The first C919 aircraft which was delivered to China Eastern Airlines on December 9 will start 100 hours of empty aircraft verification test flight from Monday.
The verification test flight will further verify the aircraft's operational safety, maintenance reliability and various operational security capabilities.
The first C919 aircraft is expected to put into commercial operation in the spring of 2023 after meeting the requirements of the Civil Aviation Administration of China.
