The music class of Renmin Town Central Primary School was founded by music teachers Zhang Yu and Li Ping in April, 2019 in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province.
They provide music training for students during extracurricular activities or lunch break, such as the proper way to sing and play an instrument.
They adapt some of the popular songs for students and share videos of chorus on online platforms. The videos have gone viral and earned over 1 millions followers.
With the increasing popularity, the music class has received donations and support from society. It now has its own music classroom, equipped with guitar, ukulele, bass, African drum and other musical instruments. The class has also produced an original song.
The two teachers believe that music have brought joy and confidence to students here.
