Gao Tingyu, China's first ever male Olympic gold medalist in speed skating, broke Olympic record with a time of 34.32 seconds to claim men's 500m gold at Beijing 2022.
In 2018, Gao won the bronze medal with a time of 34.65 seconds at PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games.
