At the distance of 300 meters east of the site of Huiningfu, the upper capital of the Jin Dynasty the first Emperor of Jin Dynasty, Wanyan Aguda’s original burial site is located in southern suburb, Acheng City, Heilongjiang Province. The Mausoleum, locally referred to as execution site for army officers, is a huge mound of 10-meter high, assuming the shape of a turtle, covering an area of approximately 1000 square meters, the base circumference of the mound being as long as more than 100 meters.The first Emperor of Jin Dynasty (1068-1123) was the second son of Jielibo, his autonym Wanyan Aguda and Chinese first name Wen. Aguda proclaimed himself emperor of Jin Dynasty in 1115, naming the first year of his reign Shouguo. He was an outstanding hero of the Jurchen Nationality, for completing two great causes in his lifetime, one founding a new dynasty; the other defeating Liao Kingdom. In the second year of his reign (1116), he was respectfully called “Emperor Mahatma”, and called “Emperor Wuyuan” posthumously in the third year of Tianhui (1125), his shrine name “Founder”.
