Shida Night Market gets its name as it is located at the west gate of the Harbin Normal University. Shida is the abbreviation of the university in Chinese pinyin. The night market has been famous for a variety of snacks offered by more than 500 food stands. Every summer night, people flood there to shop, eat, browse and just soak up the atmosphere.
