China's interbank money market recorded 95.1 trillion yuan (about 13.96 trillion U.S. dollars) worth of transactions in August, up 14.9 percent year on year, data from the People's Bank of China showed.
The pledged repo turnover rose 17.6 percent year on year to 83 trillion yuan, while outright repo turnover was 700 billion yuan, down 11.4 percent from the same period last year, the central bank said in a report.
Last month, interbank lending transactions shrank 0.3 percent year on year to 11.5 trillion yuan. Enditem
