The Chinese Young Pioneers (CYP), a national mass organization for Chinese children, concluded its eighth national congress on Friday, adopting a resolution on the work report of the seventh CYP work committee and a resolution on the amendment of the charter of the CYP.
A total of 195 members were elected onto the eighth CYP work committee.
According to the work report, young pioneers of the new era should lead children across the country in passing on the traditions of revolution and cultivating and practicing core socialist values.
