Hong Kong stocks closed down 190.87 points, or 0.72 percent, to 26,422.55 points on Tuesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 26,394.87 and 26,690.65. Turnover totaled 84.53 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 10.77 billion U.S. dollars).
