[Photo: Xinhua] A Chinese top political advisor has called on religious figures in Tibet to help ensure local stability by resisting the influence of foreign forces. During a trip there, Yu Zhengsheng also suggested religious figures guide their followers to safeguard national and ethnic unity. He also called on local authorities to defend the religious freedom of all ethnic groups. During his time there, Yu also urged efforts to promote environmental protection and optimize the allocation of poverty alleviation resources.
