China held the 16th Lanting Forum at 9:30 am on Thursday, June 2, 2016.

The theme of the 16th Lanting Forum is "China-U.S. China Relations: Direction and Momentum".

Officials from the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Financial Ministry, and Education Ministry shed light on the 8th China-U.S. Strategic and Economic Dialogue as well as the 7th China-U.S. Consultation on People-to-People Exchange, which will be held next week.

Initiated by the Foreign Ministry, the Lanting Forum is aimed at providing a platform for government departments, international scholars, and social sectors to discuss international issues and Chinese foreign policies.
