Mothers will never give up a fight for their children.

In the past 25 years, a mum from the province of Guizhou has never stopped her efforts to try to find her lost son.

51-year-old Zhang Xuexia has been sending out photos of her lost son via social media sites and through flyers to try to track down the missing boy.

Zhang Xuexia's son, Song Zhiyan, was kidnapped in 1991. He was sold by human traffickers.

However, the trail to find him has gone cold.

But police say if anyone fitting the description being circulated comes forward, DNA testing could help solve the case.

Another woman from central China's Hunan Province, Zhang Guihong, shared the same experience with Zhang Xuexia. Her son was abducted in 2002 when he was only four years old.

The two heart-broken mums are now supporting each other to continue their decades-long campaign of trying to find their lost children.
