[Photo: people.cn] U.S. tech giant Apple is set to open 5 new stores in China this month. On Thursday, Apple opened its first store in Xiamen. The company also opened a store in Shenyang over the past weekend, while it is slated to open another in Nanjing this Saturday. Another two are scheduled to open in Guangzhou and Qingdao at the end of the month. The electronics maker set a target of 40 stores on the Chinese mainland this year. China is Apple's second largest market in the world after the United States.
