Bank of Communications and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank each paid over 13 billion yuan. As the maker of iPhones and iPads, Apple has been involved in several tax evasion scandals in recent years. Its Chinese subsidiary was fined 65 million yuan in 2015 as the company failed to pay 450 million yuan in taxes in 2013.
