[File Photo: hinews.cn] The airport of Boao, host of the Boao Forum for Asia in Hainan Province, is expected to begin trial operations in March to serve this year's conference. Construction of the airport began in March last year with an investment of over 1 billion yuan, or 170 million U.S. dollars. Currently, the construction has entered its final stage. It will be completed in February. The airport will be able to accommodate 500-thousand passengers and handle 15-hundred tons of cargo annually by 2020.
