Three people were killed and another six injured, when a tower crane collapsed at an east China construction site Thursday, local authorities said. The accident happened at around 1:30 p.m. at Guoxin Sports Center in Qingdao City, Shandong Province. The crane hit nine workers, with three of whom were pronounced dead on the way to hospital. The others are receiving treatment. Police have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident. |
