[Photo: pcpop.com] A court in Tianjin has agreed to hear a case brought by a non-governmental Chinese environmental organization against Volkswagen over its emissions scandal. The China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation said it has sued the automaker over the 2-thousand vehicles imported to China, equipped with the software that rigs emission tests. The organization says Volkswagen broke Chinese laws and worsened air pollution. Volkswagen's China branch has responded saying that they are aware of the lawsuit and will pay close attention. The company's delivery in China has declined since the start of the scandal. An industry report shows that the German carmaker's delivery in China dropped nearly 4 percent during the first eleven months of this year, from the same period last year. The figure is bigger than the company's global average decline of some 2 percent.
